About Us
We are a family operated an owned company founded in 2003 by father an son duo Paul & Kyle Hourihane
We started off operating throughout the uk in the general haulage sector of the market for the likes of Tata steel (formally corus and british steel) & asset international transporting armco barrier and large diameter plastic drainage pipes,Of which some were in excess of 3.5 metres wide, we quickly spotted a niche in the market for hiab crane offload vehicles an abnormal load movements which soon became our forte
We currently operate a range of various vehicles which consist of 2 abnormal load escort vehicles,4 wheeler 10 ton rigids up to 8 wheeler 32 ton rigids,artic hiab lorries,extending steering trailers,Low loader stepframe extending Trailers ,specialist boat trailer,specialist power steered vessel carriers. All of our vehicles are equipped with hiab lorry loader cranes with lifting capacity's ranging from 14 ton per metre up to 75ton per metre and reaches of up to 29 metres. All vehicles are fitted with flashing beacons and work lights
All our vehicles are kept clean and tidy and up to road legal standards at all times as we not only represent our company we also represent the company we are doing the job for ! They are inspected every 6 weeks as per vosa guidelines and also 6 monthly inspections on our lorry loaders and lifting equipment are carried out and daily defect system is in place
We can accommodate all types of movements ranging from 10 ft containers & cabins up to & over 40 ft containers,machines, switch control panels,transformers,generators,large diameter pipes,fork trucks just to name a few, we can also transport lengths of up to 45 metres and weights up to 80 ton operating within the united kingdom and internationally
All our drivers hold full uk licences for the type of vehicle they drive,
they are trained to Allmi standards of crane offload along side CSCS
cards and our own health and safety induction and training
Drivers are supplied safety harness's and inertia reels for when they are working at height,
They are also trained and informed of the dangers when working at height
Full ppe is also supplied which includes,steel toe capped safety boots,hard hat with chin strap,goggles, high visibility jackets and gloves as the health an safety of our employees and people we work around are taken very seriously
